Every time she called during my normal work hours,I told her I was in the middle of work and couldn't talk. So she started calling me in the evening. I still don't think she is totally convinced of my job.

If you can figure out how to hide from your mother let me know.
Mom, I love her to death, but it's taken me years to convince her that I'm actually working in my studio during the day, not home doing nothing.
She tells people, my brother works, and I stay home.
No mom, I work from home, really this is what I do for a living.

It almost sounds like the "book a month" challenge. I purchased that book and tried it...not easy I discovered.

Go to National Novel Writing Month.com for more info. It's international now and is a crazy fun way to get yourself going. I am no where near the mark, but I htought, what the heck, sometimes necessity is the mom of invention, right?
