Last Friday I was invited to an event at a school about seventy miles away. The school had previously contacted me re donating one of my books "
of which we've heard great things" as a fund raising for their school.
Being always willing to help with such donations for any charity or event I was only too pleased to send them a signed hard back copy of "

The sole Mission of B. Hudson Ministry is to motivate, inspire and enable parents to teach their children about Jesus while they are in their informative years. Studies show that, the younger a person is when they learn about Christ; the more likely they are to receive Him as their personal Savior.
Jesus said,
“Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven” Matthew 19:14 King James Version
B. Hudson Ministry has created the tools that…

I’ll confess: I wrote my first Young Adult novel by accident.
I wasn’t new to writing. For close to a quarter of a century I’d been a writing “apprentice” in the truest sense of the word. I had boxes of scribbles, drafts and old journals stacked in the basement. Plenty of essays, articles and stories … some published, some not A little bona fide writing income of various sorts. But no book. No complete work of fiction, with a beginning, middle and end.
Then, I heard her voice.
This fourteen-y…

Sorry Doesn't Clean It Up was named as a finalist in the ABC Children's Book competition. I am so excited to have had my manuscript selected as one of 12 finalists (the only author from New England) and have had a blast doing book readings at schools and libraries in MA, NH, and ME. I've pretty much used up my vacation time for the year! If you would like to read (AND VOTE) for the story, here is the link:…

I've read a lot of books this summer! I love library books. I like the crinkly sound and feel. I like the smell. I like the larger type, and generous margins of middle grade books. I like resurrecting the feeling of being that age, curling up with a book that takes me to other places, other times, and inside the minds of other people. I love reading.
Here's the list (in no particular order):
THE WESTING GAME by Ellen Raskin
IT'S LIKE THIS, CAT by Emily Cheney Neville
