Join the Discussion Forum
The forums are threaded discussions on a variety of topics, from writing and illustrating to general schmoozing. The rest is pretty self explanatory, like any of the other bulletin board or forum sites you've ever seen. The effect, with active participation, will be a number of open conversations that anyone can jump in on at any time.
Groups can also have their own discussion forums. I'll talk about groups in a future entry--but what you're waiting for that, why not join in a forum discussion or start a new one?
